The REALISE Project’s Component One, aimed at supporting vulnerable households to revive or start small businesses, is set to benefit 1,395 small businesses across Montserrado and Margibi Counties. This initiative is part of the third round of project activities.
In Montserrado County, 15 communities will receive small grants under this round. Each community will have 78 beneficiaries, resulting in 1,170 beneficiaries for the county. Margibi County will see support in three communities, with 75 households benefiting from grants in each, totaling 225 beneficiaries.
As per the project design, each eligible household will receive a grant of USD 900, distributed in two tranches of $450 each. In addition to financial support, beneficiaries will also undergo comprehensive training in business development to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and ensure the sustainability of their ventures.
