Monrovia February 13, 2026-The REALISE Project Steering Committee meeting convened at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, bringing together key stakeholders committed to improving livelihoods across project intervention areas. The meeting was presided over by Acting Minister Henry B. Yonton, whose calm but firm leadership set the tone for the discussions.
In his opening remarks, Minister Yonton underscored the importance of “accountability, youth inclusion, and results-driven implementation as the project moves toward its final phase”. He praised the dedication of implementing partners and encouraged stronger coordination to ensure that project benefits reach targeted communities.
Project updates highlighted progress in community livelihoods, climate-smart agriculture, and beneficiary engagement, while also acknowledging challenges encountered during implementation including NIR cards for beneficiaries. Steering Committee members actively engaged in discussions, offering guidance and reaffirming their collective commitment to the project’s success.
The meeting concluded with a shared sense of purpose and renewed determination to ensure that the REALISE Project continues to deliver meaningful and sustainable impact for communities across Liberia.
