Representatives from various government institutions convened at the REALISE Project office for a comprehensive walkthrough of the Liberia Household Social Registry (LHSR) and its associated Management Information System (MIS) and the Youth Empowerment Zone (YEZ) platform. The session aimed to enhance understanding of the system’s structure, functionality, and its pivotal role in supporting data-driven social protection programs across the country.

He encouraged representatives from the various government institutions present to take full advantage of the training, highlighting that a deeper understanding of the systems would enhance coordination, promote data-driven decision-making, and ultimately strengthen the country’s social protection landscape.”

The training event brought together key stakeholders from several government and youth-focused institutions, including the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE), the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY), and the Ministry of Labor. Their participation underscores a shared commitment to strengthening the implementation and coordination of social protection initiatives through the effective use of the Liberia Household Social Registry (LHSR) and its Management Information System (MIS).
